I've found a bar, Good Spirits. All well and good. Grateful to see this place has that at least.

What I'm curious is-- What other forms of entertainment are there? What do you do all do here for fun?

Consider the wide range of worlds people come from, all with their own rules and different judicial systems. While I'm sure there are some constants across worlds, there are just as many things that would differ.

How would you enforce any laws? Who would do that? What sort of system can you impose on a world that's built around chaos itself?

Is that not what "civilization" does? Imposes order on chaos, forces masses of people to follow the same rules that some figure of authority decides are best?

A valid point, but how would a figure of authority be decided here? This isn't to say people haven't thought about the topic and creating some system of justice, but it would have to be handled with great care.

As figures of authority have been decided throughout history.

One man claims power and fights to keep it, destroying all opposition.

The mightiest isn't always the best, nor should power rest solely on one man. A council, perhaps, its members elected by the village.

An equally corrupt system, where what is "popular" reigns and dissenting voices are easily drowned out by a mob.

All systems can be corrupt in one way or another.

I wonder if this is such a place where no government or monarchy or anything is needed.
